The new Montblanc TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph commemorates the golden age of motor racing with intricate detail. The dial, with its three brown counters on a beige “Cappuccino” background is what has become commonly known as a “panda” design. The bold contrast between the brown vintage three-dimensional counters and the beige dial are reminiscent of classic racing car dashboards and are some of the most eye-catching and recognizable dial designs. This new color scheme was inspired by the old “tropical” dials found on vintage watches. The 43mm stainless steel case has been satin finished for an automotive look and improved scratch resistance. The TimeWalker Manufacture Chronograph features a new fixed black bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale crafted from high-tech black polished ceramic for strength, durability and performance. The timepiece is powered by the brand new manufacture chronograph Caliber MB 25.10 characterized by traditional finishes such as Côtes de Genève, circular graining, blue screws and a new one-piece oscillating weight made of black rhodium-plated tungsten and designed in the shape of a steering wheel. The movement is equipped with a traditional column wheel, a horizontal catch and a stop-seconds mechanism, which allows the precise setting of the time.
